ABOUT LUKE
I’m a guitarist, singer, songwriter & instructor from the Northwoods of WI. While I enjoy music in all it’s forms, I’ve always been drawn most deeply to the traditions of the blues, bluegrass, old-time, and acoustic roots music.
Something about traditional music feels essential to our species. Passed down from our ancestors, it reminds us that music has always served as a form of community release, expansion of love, connectedness, and just plain ole’ fun.
I believe traditional music is a reflection of the performer’s soul, bared in an act of trust and love with the audience (and oneself) – it’s really one of those special moments where the juice can be worth even more than the squeeze.

Ok, I promise not to talk this much on stage… You can book me as a solo performer, or I could build you a string band – from a duo all the way up to full five-piece hootin’ an hollerin’ bluegrass band.

Also, here is some old music of mine from 2019. You may enjoy that. Go ahead. It’s Ok. I recorded it a lifetime ago, and although it’s still special to me, I have gone on a long journey from that time. Stay tuned for new releases coming this year – I’m excited to share what I’ve been working on!
